Memento Mori Memento Vivere
the memoirs
The Origin Story of the annual MMMV books—
This journal didn't start as a product. It began as an act of absolute necessity. After surviving the deepest societal and personal crash-outs—when my life needed structure but couldn't withstand the rigidity of hustle-culture planning—I needed a book that respected the flow state of a self-made existence. I was tired of journals demanding I plan my whole year in January, demanding goals that felt robotic and empty.
I wanted a book that celebrated my non-linear progress. I needed a space that prioritized attunement to my own body, my own mind, and the cyclical rhythms of the natural world—the very rhythms that continue to prove the validity of life.
The Manifesto of Existence
a philosophical mantra: the genesis of your personal memoir

It’s designed so that at the end of the year, you don't judge your "progress" by society's warped metrics.
Instead, you hold an artifact that contains YOUR ideas, YOUR dreams, YOUR experiences, YOUR lessons, YOUR successes, and every tiny thing you picked up along the way that brought you closer to the truest, most favorite version of yourself.
This is about checking in with what really matters right now to honor yourself. It’s about remembering that you are nature too—observe the seasonal changes and notice the stars, the flowers.
Every iteration, every loving edit over the years, has been to remove the unnecessary scaffolding and lean into what truly matters:
This book is a safe haven from the "get that bag, bb" mentality. It is your permission slip to take your time with mindfulness prompts and affirmations, knowing that there is ample journal space not just for philosophical elaboration, but for the mundane to-do list that anchors you to the present moment.
your life, recorded.
